Spontanes TAIFUN TREFFEN am 28./29.09.2019 am Flugplatz Burg Feuerstein
Liebe Taifun-Gemeinde,
da es 2018 leider kein Taifun-Treffen gab, fände ich es doch schade,
wenn wir auch 2019 ohne ein solches zu Ende gehen ließen. Aus diesem
Grund möchte ich kurzfristig zu einem kleinen Treffen am 28./29.9.2019
auf den Flugplatz Burg Feuerstein einladen.
Einige Informationen:
* Burg Feuerstein, ICAO-Kennung EDQE, 1663ft MSL, 973m Asphalt 08/26,
Frequenz 130.780 MHz. Kleine Schwierigkeit: Die Landebahn ist nicht
völlig eben, sondern in der Mitte etwas erhöht.

* (Bisher) geplant ist folgendes:
- Philipp Schildt wird einen kleinen Vortrag über seinen Flug nach
Dänemark/Schweden im August diesen Jahres mit der D-KJTN halten.
- Diskussionsrunden über verschiedene Themen (Anregungen sind
willkommen, eine Liste werde ich zusammenstellen)
* Wenn ihr kommen könnt und wollt, meldet euch doch bitte bei kurz bei
mir (neuss@scipolis.de, neuss@math.fau.de), damit wir etwas besser
planen können. Zwar wird es bei manchen vom Wetter abhängen, aber man
bekommt doch schon mal einen gewissen Eindruck wieviele es werden
könnten.
* Wenn ihr auch einen Vortrag beitragen wollt, sagt es mir. Es
sind noch einige Slots im Programm frei:-)
* Unterkunft gibt es in der Umgebung (je nach Zahl der Teilnehmer(innen)
werde ich eine Liste zusammenstellen). Ich plane auch, einen kleinen
9-Sitzer zu mieten, mit dem wir den Transfer von und zum Hotel
machen können.

Dear Taifun community,
since we did not have a Taifun meeting in 2018, I think that it would be
a pity if also 2019 would pass without it. Therefore, I would like to
invite you on short notice to a small meeting at the weekend
28./29.9.2019 at the airport Burg Feuerstein.

Freq. 130.780 MHz. Small difficulty: The runway is not completely
level, but a bit elevated in the middle.

* (Up to now) we have the following programme:
- Philipp Schildt will give a talk about his flight to
Denmark/Sweden this year in August with the D-KJTN.
- Discussions about different topics (topic proposals are welcome)
* If you would like to come, please send me an email
(neuss@scipolis.de, neuss@math.fau.de) such that we can plan a bit
better. Probably, for some of you it will depend on the weather,
but at least we can get some impression about the number of people
possibly attending.
* If you want to contribute a talk or something else to the programme,
please tell me. As you can see some slots are still free:-)
* Accomodations can be found in the surroundings (I can compile a list
depending on the number of attendants). I plan to rent a small
9-seated bus, with which I can drive participants to their hotels.
